Inglewood, CA (July 30, 2020)— Applied Professional Systems (APS) announced today that it has been selected to install a smart, simple, and scalable EnSight Technologies parking guidance system at Hollywood Park in Inglewood, California. The 298-acre mixed-use development will offer retail, restaurant, and residential space, as well as SoFi Stadium, the new home of the Los Angeles Chargers and Rams.

EnSight’s pioneering parking occupancy management and guidance technology will be installed in the complex’s four-story retail and residential parking garage to help tenants and visitors find available parking quickly and conveniently. San Diego-based APS is one of California’s leading parking technology providers.

“We are thrilled to be providing parking guidance technology for this exciting project,” said Chris Scheppmann, president of Access Professional Systems. “The EnSight Technologies parking guidance system is the most advance parking guidance technology in the world, and visitors, residents, and Chargers and Rams fans are going to love how easy it makes parking.”

EnSight Technology’s intelligent camera-based solution will be installed on each of the garage’s four parking levels to monitor the occupancy of general spaces, and a roof top zone will be monitored by outdoor pole mounted cameras to count vehicles entering a residential nest. Occupancy information will be transmitted in real-time to monument signs located on the garage’s exterior to let parkers know how many spaces are available. Ensight Technologies’ Open API will also transmit occupancy data to Samsung dynamic LED message boards that will be used for much more than just space information.

The Hollywood Park garage has ramp parking within the structure, and the EnSight parking guidance system can virtually define regions of interest, exclusion and count lines, to enable occupancy counting without compromising parking spaces with physical lane delineation. This will allow the system to provide parking guidance during Rams and Chargers games if the complex’s managers choose to use the garage for NFL games and other event parking.

The Hollywood Park garage is being built by Webcor Builders and Bomel Construction. Hollywood Park is owned and developed by The Kroenke Group.
