APS goes to Farmer’s Insurance Open at Torrey Pines
APS and N.N. Jaeschke rallied together in appreciation of our partnership with a day at the golf course
The APS team went to the Farmer’s Insurance Open at Torrey Pines Golf Course to treat our clients to a beautiful day on the links as a thank you for their partnership with us throughout 2017.
We strive to work as hard as possible and we know that our clients do the same. Every now and then it is important to take a break and step outside. What better way than watching golf with our usual beautiful Southern California weather!
Building client relationships
Periodically, APS will plan social outings with clients to keep things sane. We were specifically drawn to the golf tournament because we love seeing the best in action. There are always great parallels to learn from great people and organizations. During the time on the course with our clients, it is all playtime. However, the trust and bonds we form are crucial when we are back in the trenches working with these clients.
About the tournament
This is the 66th year a PGA TOUR event has been held in San Diego, beginning with the San Diego Open in 1952. 2018 marks the 51st time the event is being held at Torrey Pines Golf Course and the eighth year of Farmers Insurance sponsorship of the Tournament.
The 2018 Tournament Field featured 156 players, with each player playing one round on the South and North Courses on Thursday and Friday. After Friday’s round, the field was cut to the lowest 70 scores and ties. The final two rounds were played on the South Course on Saturday and Sunday.
